There are numerous ways to enjoy the great outdoors throughout the city. Lee’s Summit is home to 1200 acres of park land; 25 public parks; 15 tennis court facilities; 7 baseball parks; many hiking and biking trails; and a large municipal swimming pool.

Legacy Park has 12 baseball fields, 6 girls' softball fields, and 8 soccer fields on 704 acres of park land. A 45,000 square foot Community Center including meeting rooms, a recreational pool, fitness center, and gymnasium.
