Outdoor recreation enthusiasts sail, boat, and ski on our public lakes; Blue Springs Lake, Lake Jacomo and Longview Lake.  All of these lakes have swimming beaches, full-service marinas and campgrounds.

Hikers enjoy the trails at any of our public lakes as well as the James A. Reed Wildlife Reserve. Jackson County Parks and Recreation sites recorded 2 million visitors last year with over 60% of them being in Lee's Summit.
